Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He studied at the University of Wisconsin, Law School, Madison, and at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.

He began his career at the Valdivieso, Yavar, Saldivia & Silva law firm and later served as Legal Manager of Empresas Lucchetti S.A. Then, for 12 years, he was Prosecutor of the Inter-American Business Group, part of the AIG Insurance Group, with responsibilities for companies in South America, Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. For 8 years, he served as Prosecutor of AES Gener S.A., with control over operations in Chile, Argentina, and Colombia. His professional work unfolds in various legal areas, such as civil, commercial, corporate, financing, insurance, energy, construction, and labor matters, among others.
